About Me
I learned the love of cooking for others when I was a teenager. I've been trying new things ever since... has it been 30 years already? My kids are all grown, but it is rewarding to have them call and ask how I made that dinner that they really liked.
My favorite things to cook
New recipes. I rely a lot on the reviews here at Allrecipes, which is why I spend so much time here.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday meals. I love to make all the fixin's for Thanksgiving and Christmas - no matter if there are just 2 of us or 20 of us to eat!
My cooking triumphs
I've got a pretty good success rate at picking out and preparing new recipes that my family ends up enjoying. Many times I am told "this is a keeper!"
My cooking tragedies
I always seem to forget about and burn the last batch of cookies. This is a real tragedy since I don't make cookies very often.
