I was thought this would be better than it was. I think it was missing something, maybe some wine. I made the recipe as it was written, but next time I will try adding some other things to suit our tastes.

Classic Macaroni Salad

This is the best. I added a little more mayo, used apple cider vinegar instead of distilled and added 4 chopped eggs to the salad. Definitely use the pimentos and shredded carrot, not only does it add extra flavor but it makes it look great too.

Taco Seasoning I

This is really convenient and it tastes really good. The only thing I did different is add about a 1/2 t. of cornstarch. I cooked some leftover shredded pork with the taco seasoning and added a 1/2 c. water to the meat and simmered for about 10 minutes. It was great!

Banana Crumb Muffins

These were great! I added an extra egg and an extra 1/2 banana. I made jumbo muffins so I only made 6. They cooked perfectly in 20 minutes. This was really easy and a good treat.

Shrimp Etouffee II

Wow! This was fantastic and soooo easy. I had to improvise a little. I used golden mushroom soup, and I didn't have any carrots so I used some mixed frozen veggies from my freezer. I also added some creole seasoning, garlic salt and some red pepper flakes. It was really good!

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

I love pork tenderloin. It's always so juicy and easy to make. This recipe is perfect. The marinade just made it that much better! Don't change a thing, and definitely let it marinate overnight.

Che Guevara's Ceviche

My husband went fishing on Sunday and brought back a ton of Mahi so that's what I used. I didn't have green onions, shrimp or celery so I omitted it and it was still great. I love ceviche and now I have a good recipe to make myself at home. Thanks!

Rum Balls I

I used 1 12oz. box of vanilla wafers and that was almost exactly 3 cups. I used 3T. of real rum as one of the other reviewers stated and I felt the dough was a little wet, so next time I would use the same amount of rum and all of the crumbs from the 12oz. box of wafers to compensate. We really enjoyed this and my husband had fun helping me make them!

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

I thought this was very tasty but I found the batter to be really thick and the end result was a dense cake with a very hard crust. I agree with another reviewer to cook this for less time. I would also double the caramel glaze because I couldn't taste it at all. All that said, everyone still enjoyed it and I will try it again with some changes!

California Grilled Lamb Burger with Cumin Yogurt

3/31/09-I just made this again last night with turkey and they were so good. I didn't have yogurt so I just used sour cream and it worked out great. I love this recipe. Wow, wow, wow!!!! This is an amazing combination of flavors. Make this exactly as written and you won't be disappointed.
