The cookies tasted GREAT...although I had a really hard time getting the dough around the caramels. I had a big sticky mess. I made it work though...and the cookies were wonderful. Some of the caramels did "leak" out of the cookies...which created yet another mess...but it was all worth it. I think I will try again and see if the dough turns out a bit more stiff next time.

I made this recipe because I had some leftover sundried tomatoes from another recipe. Sorry...I just didn't see anything good about this one. It had no flavor and the only time it tasted OK was when they were hot out of the oven. Room temp was awful.

Not bad, but definitely needs something added. I added extra cheese to the leftover dish and it made a huge difference (needed salt, I guess). I also increased the cooking temp to 350 and cooked for half the time...much better. Be sure to add a few extra tablespoons of liquid though...so that it doesn't dry out.
