Candied Kielbasa

This was really delicious, but too I decided to cut the sugar out, use grape jelly instead of the sugar, and substituted Heinz A1 Sauce for tartness. It was even better!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2002
If I could give this a review with six stars, I would. This is unbelieveably easy. Even my finiky son-in-law (who hates vegetables) loved it! We doubled the recipe for our Christmas dinner, and I began to wonder if that would be enough...my guests kept coming back for more. Now if only we could get a recipe that would make spinach this palatable!

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2002
I found this recipe to be the best ever! I did make some substitutions, however. I used Land O Lakes fat-free half-and-half, and I did assemble the pie in a pre-made graham cracker crust, and I whipped my own topping instead of using Cool Whip. It was just wonderful, and every single crumb disappeared! This is truly a keeper!

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2002
I, too, am from Rhode Island. I have tried many recipes to compare to the wedding soups that are so popular here. This, by far, is the best. I think the meatballs could use a little pizazz so I add a dash of Heinz 57 Steak Sauce to the meatballs, but I would not change one other thing!

Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2002
I made this recipe after enjoying Chicken and Wild Rice Soup in a well-known restaurant for the very first time. I tried it, I LOVE it! On a rainy day the house fills with mouth-watering scents, and it not only turned out to be better than the restaurant soup, but it is now our ultimate comfort food on a cold wintry day!
