Apple Strudel Muffins
The strudel didn't turn out like it's supposed to, but these muffins were still a very tasty treat. A great way to use up those apples in the fall. I used Honeycrisp apples.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork
Great for a fall weeknight family meal. The meat, for the most part, was tender and flavorful. It had the look and texture of pulled pork. I used whole cranberry sauce and creamy french dressing, and I rubbed 2 minced garlic cloves onto the meat before putting it into the slow cooker.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
This is a very good recipe for a basic NY cheesecake. I served this with Ruby Red Strawberry Sauce, which I found on this site -- made it darn near irresistible. I placed the water bath on the rack below the cheesecake and ended up with a 3-inch crack in the middle of the cake, which was totally fine because the strawberry sauce went right on top of it. Next time I'll put the cheesecake directly in the water bath. And because the side of the cake was a bit burnt and dry, I'll try baking it about 8-10 minutes less.
