I am a mother of two little boys. One is three and the other is a year and a half. They keep me busy, so I don't have much time to cook. They do like to help in the kitchen though! I love Italian food, bread, and desserts of all kinds. I enjoy challenging foods like pies. I also decorate cakes, so I bake a lot of them. Every Christmas my mom makes Christmas candy. Although Christmas is a very busy time of year for me, I have tried to carry on the tradition. My husband's favorite are date balls. I have baked and decorated four wedding cakes. My last two were four tiered fondant cakes and they turned out really beautiful. Once I was baking a wedding cake. It was midnight before it was finished baking. I had to shell 18 eggs for this cake. It was huge. I tried to lift it out of the oven and it slipped out of my hands.
