About this Cook
Living in the South has exposed me to many types and styles of cooking. My wife and I started cooking for family and friends 2o some years ago and get lots of kudos for our efforts..:)
My favorite things to cook
My specialty is grilled anything. I lean toward Tex-Mex and Cajun flavors in my recipes. I love the spicy flavors, but like to let my guests add any "heat" if they want to
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holidays and summer Barbeques are a family tradition with us
My cooking triumphs
Being selected to run the annual Rotary Club family picnic because of my grilling reputation.
My cooking tragedies
CLASSIFIED..:)

Sopa de Ajo Mexicana (Mexican Garlic Soup)
Excellent soup. I added cumin as did one other reviewer, but I add cumin to vanilla ice cream. Great recipe Lucero. Thanks for sharing.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast
Wonderful rub, wonderful recipe. I take the time to cook this in my smoker as I think the flavor is just a little more intense. Either way it is one incredible recipe. Thanks Joel.

Smoky Mountain Chipotle Chicken
Awesome recipe. Has become a very much requested dish at family gatherings. I use apple wood in my Weber as I don't like gas grills. Try this recipe folks, it's worth it. Thanks Janine for sharing this keeper.
