I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle with a certification in Baking and Pastry. I love everything to do with baking. I consider it a stress reliever to go home and head into the kitchen to bake a batch of cookies or a nice loaf of bread. cookies and pastries. I do more baking than cooking. My dad taught me to bake and I remember being in the kitchen with him baking our favorite carrot cake recipe. Now, with my 4 year old son, we enjoy baking together. He hears me shuffling things in the kitchen and he immediately grabs his stool to help with the task.
