My Country Style Steak
We had this last night and it was really good. I did make some changes... First I had more meat but only one pack of Dry Onion soup. I used Tastefully Simple Onion onion to add a little more oomph without as much salt. I also didn't bother to dredge the meat first. Instead as the small pieces were browing in a little oil, I sprinkeled the flour on top and stired it up to coat. Then added water and milk.

Fried Green Tomatoes
Oh so easy and oh so wonderful. We tend to stay away from fried foods, but these with their thick cuts of tomato didn't seem greasy at all. We loved them and will most likely be making them again

Soft Oatmeal Cookies
a couple of changes for us... First used 1/2 cup splenda sugar blend and added a ton (2 1/2 cups) raisens second didn't chill, but instead spread out onto a lightly greased jelly roll pan 3rd baked at 350 for about 5 minutes longer 4th cut into about 72 small bar cookies. Saved a lot of time rolling and smushing. and then I have lots of little chewy cookies for my family.
