Bill and Annette's One Pot Kraut Special

I actually have an apple peeler that I use, which makes the apples sliced instead of diced. Likewise with the onions. Strips are nicer as you bite! The recipe somehow converted to everything being diced. I dont dice anything!

Yum Yum I've actually been making this for a while. Instead of dipping in egg, I dip in zesty italian dressing and then roll in seasoned bread crumbs. Heavenly!

Greek-Style Rib Eye Steaks

WOW.. all I can say is YUMMO! Even my skeptical 15yr old though it was delish! Quick and easy too. I used olive oil and I think that added to the flavor also.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Wow. Even my picky 14yr old loved this corned beef. I rubbed the sugar on the beef poured in the guinness and put it in the crock pot on low for about 6 hrs. It turned out wonderfully!

Colcannon

I made this for our St.Patricks day dinner. My son, who hates cabbage, loved this dish. I really thought the flavors blended so well together. I have been interested in trying something using Leeks. I was very pleased!

Italian Herb Infused Olive Oil

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
FANTASTIC flavor! I made this for Christmas gifts with "Jo's Rosemary bread" in the bread machine. All the flavors melded so great! I read up on oil infusion and chose to do a heat infusion. The risk of food poisioning goes down if you heat the herbs. Something about the fresh herbs having water content that causes botchilism. That's why you should use it quickly. The heating makes it last a bit longer but still in the fridge. I bought oil bottles with spouts and sealing wax and dipped them in red wax to seal them for gifts. They were pretty with the red wax, jingle bell, red raffia ribbon and sprig of rosemary inside the bottle with the oil. Very nice!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

I cannot believe how WONDERFUL this bread turned out! I followed the directions to a tee. I borrowed a bread maker from my friend and this was the recipe I decided to make as Christmas presents. The house smells wonderful! I made herb infused olive oil to go with and everything was just fantastic!!! Will make this again and again!

Beef Wellington

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
Wow! This was so good. Very easy and not too time consuming. Very fancy presentation. I omitted the pate, since most said that it was overpowering. I think next time I will add some spices though. We will surely have it again!
