Authentic Mexican Tortillas
This recipe is just ok, way too much shortening, I have made these before with just 2 tablesp. of shortening per cup of flour. Comes out much better and healthier.

Tongue Tacos
Hi Amy! This is exactly the way my mother used to make these too! They are my all time favorite and my kids love them too! I Wouldn't eat them any other way, either.

If you use egg roll wrappers I would first roll them out a bit so they are not so thick. Then cut fill and roll them. If you add a teaspoon of ground cumin they are terrific, and not so bland.
