It's Chili by George!!
Look no further! This recipe is AWESOME as a base - I always get raves no matter how I modify. I don't drain the ground beef, however. I add things in my fridge like salsa, various hot sauces, etc. I also use Taco Seasoning I (bill echols) from this site. If you can find Luck's Pinto beans (they have pork in them....yeah, I'm not helping anyone's cholesterol level), you will really take this recipe over the top. This chili gets better on day 2 or 3, too! You will never have a bad batch with this recipe as a start (or alone) ....I promise!

Fluffy Pancakes
I've tried almost every pancake recipe on this site and like this one best because of the final texture. Definitely add 1-2 Tbsp vanilla to the mix. I've made these using apple cider vinegar and white vinegar. You can use either without impacting the taste, just don't freak out by the smell. Using an iron griddle, you have to use lower heat because of how fluffy these are, otherwise the insides don't cook as well. I typically do add an extra splash of milk to the original recipe or sometimes more to make thin pancakes. Works great either way. These are super fluffy. I use my 1/8c measuring cup to spoon these out for perfect sizing. Use 1Tbsp for mini sized for the kids (or I make them into Mickey Mouse heads using the 1/8c for the head and 1Tbsp for ears). As far as taste goes, as my husband said, "they taste like pancakes".

I am lebanese. I've never heard of putting flour in it and as DRClair said, the outside should be made of meat and cracked wheat.
