Pecan Tassies
PERFECT!!! My mom LOVES these cookies so the taste test will come later. However, as far as baking goes, these turned out beautifully. Here's how I did it... I used mini-muffin pans, a small cookie scoop for the dough, and an almost level TSP of filling for each. They rose up and filled each cup perfectly. It may seem like a very small amount but trust me, it's the exact right amount.

Neapolitan Bundt Cake
I've tried many recipes from this website and thought this would be a hit, too. Unfortunately, it was such a disaster. I was SO disappointed. What a mess! I will say that I diverted from the original recipe in that I followed another reviewer's advice to add one jar of strawberry ice cream topping to the batter for the pink color. It all went to the bottom of the pan! There wasn't enough chocolate flavor. Truthfully, the flavors all melded together, as did the colors, and it not only looked horrible but tasted horrible, too. Sorry, I tried:-(

Heavenly Shortbread
Oh wow!!! I HATE shortbread. I LOVE these cookies. I discovered Hershey's Halloween Kisses. They are candy corn-flavored (vanilla) and are most delicious! I thought I'd experiment for a party and make kiss cookies. I needed a plain butter recipe and chose this one due to its simplicity and rave reviews. Well, add me to the list! These turned out beautifully and are so yummy! I need to control myself so there are a few left for Saturday night's event. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
