Heavenly Shortbread
Oh wow!!! I HATE shortbread. I LOVE these cookies. I discovered Hershey's Halloween Kisses. They are candy corn-flavored (vanilla) and are most delicious! I thought I'd experiment for a party and make kiss cookies. I needed a plain butter recipe and chose this one due to its simplicity and rave reviews. Well, add me to the list! These turned out beautifully and are so yummy! I need to control myself so there are a few left for Saturday night's event. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Crab Pasta Salad
After reading the reviews, I decided to make this salad for a reception this past weekend. WOW!!! It was easy to make, although a little time consuming (I did blanch the broccoli and used red, yellow, and green peppers for added color. The dressing I used was Kraft's creamy Italian - 1/4 C.) Everyone thought the salad was delicious and it was gone before I was able to get a second helping - Usually, I'm not a fan of crab, imitation or otherwise, but there's just something about this combination of ingredients, I guess! I plan to make this again and highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you!!!

Chili Rick's
I wanted to make a "different" chili. Since I love barbeque sauce, I thought this would be the perfect recipe to try. Wow! It made a lot - too much for my huge crockpot! (I had to transfer it to my canning pot.) Then again, I wanted leftovers to freeze for my lunch in the coming months. As for the taste, it is delicious. I only gave it four stars, though, because I think you could use a half-cup less of barbeque sauce and get an even better result. It was just a little overwhelming, even for a barbeque sauce fan. All in all, though, a great recipe and one that I will be making again.
