About this Cook
I'm a senior citizen with six kids, fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. My Mother for some reason didn't teach me to cook while I was young and living at home, so I've had to teach myself. Right now within the family I am the cooking Matriarch!
My favorite things to cook
I love creole recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas I make my fudge, that "green stuff" (Watergate Salad), my dressing to accompany the turkey. Also I'm known within the family to make the best tacos.
My cooking triumphs
Everytime I cook for this mob and they are happy it's a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
One time I made banana pudding and realized later that I had forgotten to put any bananas in the pudding.

Crispy Fish
Great recipe! Did change it a bit, used one cup dry potato flakes, one cup Panko and one cup flour. Reduced the spices, but next time I'll use the full amount. Fried in Canola oil. Breading nice and crispy.

Cake Balls
These were great. I used a orange cake mix with half a container of vanilla frosting and it was a big hit. Am going to try the German chocolate cake next.
