This was so good! My husband and I loved it. I didn't have enough chili powder, so I used 1 tsp chili powder + 2 tsp "Essence" that I had made from Emeril's recipe. I also used 1 1/2 cups chicken stock + 1/2 cup white wine. It was sort of like a spicy chicken marsala. The dates were perfect - I was a little unsure about them but will definitely make this again. This was really good. I picked this recipe because I only had 1 egg and will definitely use this recipe again. I totally forgot to add the milk but I didn't miss it. I used all brown sugar and added a little cinnamon as well. Thanks!
