Cranana Jam

My first jam! Success! Per other reviews, I decreased the sugar to 5 cups and it was plenty sweet. I might even try 4 cups next time. Not quite as red as the photo but next time I'll try skimming more of the bubbles off the top. Still a pretty deep pink and delicious! Made 8 6oz. jars.

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

Easy and delicious! I used mini m&m's (1 cup instead of 2) in the cream cheese layer and it made some really fun swirly colors. The cream cheese layer is rich enough to skip the frosting, which adds to their portability and ease.

Spicy Vegan Potato Curry

Really, really yummy. Next time I'll cut down on the cayenne pepper but this is a winner for the amount of food with a unique flavor and minimal work.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

The sauce for the beef totally made the dish. Everything was perfectly cooked and pre-cut brocolli florets made the dish even quicker. Definitely one to make again and again with whatever veggies I have on hand.

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

I can't believe how easy and quick this is! I made the recipes exactly as is and the "dough" was very wet. I pushed it onto the pan and loosely shaped with my spatula and after 20 minutes, it was awesome. I love fresh bread in the morning and this one is ready quick enough to make daily.

Basil Shrimp Fettuccine

I added a little extra pepper because I really like the 'kick' and it came out VERY spicy (which was perfect). Overall, an easy and very fresh recipe. Serve with milk incase some of the consumers can't handle the heat!

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Be sparing with the sauce. I used too much for the amount of pork chops and it was overpoweringly sweet. A good recipe, but for me not quite 'worth it' for the high fat content.

Apple Pizza Pie

They're right- it does sound a little strange. The best part about it was how differnt it was, not necessarily the taste. Next time I would use a homemade apple filling and I think it would make a world of differnce.

Pineapple Cream Pie

This pie was good but far from great. Very filling and very sweet. I probably won't make it again. Also, I had to add much more powdered sugar than recipe said, but this could be due to using a wisk instead of beaters.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

This was simply amazing. So little preparation with amazing results. I used a cross-hatch design for the top crust and it cooked, looked, and tasted just magnificent. I'll use this one for YEARS to come.

Salmon Patties III

They weren't quite as quick to prepare as the recipe said but the extra time was well worth it. Next time I'll cruch the corn cakes a finer and have much more than the suggested amount on hand. All in all they were filling and delicious without being heavy- definetly one to make again.

Ham and Fruit Stir-fry

Wow! So unique yet so popular. I was a little apprehensive about the apples at first, but all the fruit fit perfectly with the pineapple flavored ham. Next time I might add some mushrooms.

Frosty Pumpkin Pie

I orginally made this recipe because it was lower in fat then classic pumpkin pie recipes. However, it was such a hit that I will surely make it time and time again. However, take into consideration how the crust you use will be frozen. Mine was slightly overbaked and very difficult to cut, much less eat. Overall a great twist on a classic pie that all are sure to love!
