Sandy's Chocolate Cake
Cake just doesn't get any better than this, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to review this recipe. I've made it at least a dozen times now, and it is legendary among my friends, family and coworkers. It's dense without being heavy, rich without being cloying, and perfectly sweet and chocolatey. I don't change a thing, and wouldn't dream of using another icing. As other reviewers have mentioned, you really don't have to trim the tops of the layers. It bakes up just right, and is truly delicious.

Blonde Brownies I
Another rave review here... These are really delicious. As suggested, I doubled the recipe and I'm glad I did. They're nice and sweet with just a hint of saltiness to compliment the chocolate. I used slightly less chocolate chips (1 cup for the doubled recipe), and omitted the nuts. I also wasn't sure if I should grease the pan, but used some non-stick cooking spray just to be safe. They're great served warm with ice cream, but I think I like them even better on their own. Delicious!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
Yum - comfort food! The only thing I changed was to dice the onions instead of slicing them. They were excellent alongside grilled, smoked sausage and are perfect for leftovers.
