Banana Crumb Muffins
Mom's in the hospital, went to her house to check things out and found three very ripe bananas, came home and checked out your webesite and found this recipe and found everything I needed in my kitchesn and was able to prepare this reciepe. I added some walnuts to some of the cups since Mom can't eat nuts. WOW, these were great. Any good baker should everything they need to make this recipe. Yum!!

Black-Eyed Pea Chowder
I first made this recipe the day after New Year's in 1999 when I had a bowl full of peas left. My variation on this recipe is to use one can of Rotel tomatoes and a 14 ounce can of regular diced tomatoes or stewed tomatoes. Of course being soup, you can anything you desire. If you don't have Rotel tomatoes, add a small can of green chiles or jalepenos to taste. Enjoy!

Microwave Pralines
I've tried this recipe twice in the last two days. The first try came out okay but was a little drier than I like. For the second try, I used three-quarters of a cup of heavy cream instead of two-thirds of a cup. This made the candy a bit smoother and glossier. Also, being a Southern girl with lots of pecan trees around me, I made them a little larger than the teaspoonful. I ended up making about 18 each recipe. I had no trouble with burning pecans or batter being runny. I will definitely make them again.
