Sensational Steak Sandwich

Per another reviewer's suggestion, I didn't use the crockpot, but simmered over the stove for 30 mins. These made lunch for 3 days for my husband and I and were DELICIOUS every single time.

Smoked Salmon Mousse

Excellent! I omitted the horseradish and used the spicy ketchup in addition to tabasco sauce. Like some of the other reviewers, I didn't add the avocado until I was ready to serve the cocktail. Also, to avoid a "soupy" cocktail, I reduced the tomato and clam juice to about 2/3 what the recipe called for. I love shrimp cocktail, and this was no exception!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Chinese Chicken and Corn Soup

A lot of preparation goes into this dish of soup but it is really hearty. My husband loved it, my baby loved it, and I loved it. It was worth the prep time.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

It's ok... my friends said it was good, but I thought it was a bit too salty. I'm a gravy person and I like gravy with my meatloaf and it was just too salty for gravy.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This was great! I've made it three times already and all three times have been successful. I tried with pot roast and found that to be a bit expensive so I used the recipe wit brisket instead and it's even better!! You get a gigantice slab of brisket and feed more than you would with on chunk of pot roast. Saves time and money. I like to cook this at the beginning of the week and it lasts the rest of the week as long as you refrigerate it. It also tastes good between tow slices of bread.

Gelatin-flavored Popcorn

Very messy to work with but fun. I made this with my niece and it really sugared her up! She spent more time licking the gelatin off her fingers. My dad, who is not keen to sweet things, had more than three helpings!

Cranberry Apple Gelatin Mold

I think the yogurt made this recipe look not so appetizing to my family when I served it to them so few were willing to try. I thought it was ok, but no one really ate this even though I made quite a bit thinking it would be great (according to all the high reviews).... don't think I'll be making this again.

Fluffy Canadian Pancakes

These were great. I usually don't like pancakes but these made for a great late night snack with peanut butter and strawberry jam and syrup drizzled on top. My husband loved them too!

Cream Cheese Cookies IV

I've been using this recipe as a base cream cheese cookie recipe for the last 6 years. It is great! I like to use it to bake cream cheese chocolate chip cookies with this variation: add an additional 4 oz. cream cheese, use duncan hines devil's food moist deluxe cake mix, and toss in chocolate chips to your heart's content. Chill and bake for 12 minutes.
