Holiday Meal For Two

I really enjoyed this recipe! Very simple and quick. Clean up is a snap as well. I will use this often when my daughter and I want a really good dinner and I am not in the mood to cook a huge meal! Being it is so simple I can allow her to "help" with most of the steps (she is 9) and she feels like she has cooked a gourmet meal on her own! Great one- Thanks Robbie!

German Potato Pancakes

I used a food processor to "shred" my potatos. I didnt even think to drain them after shredded. Big watery mess.. BUT! My second batch was great! The kids went wild for these.

Seafood Lasagna I

At first glance this looks like it would be intimidating, but its actually quite simple. When we made it, we took other reviewers advice and substituted Ricotta instead of cottage cheese, Instead of Milk I used half and half-and Roasted garlic cream of mushroom soup. I think next time I will add some sour cream to the cheese mixture. Both of my kids topped the Lasagna with it -- (it was actually really good, gave it a bit more richness) and also try Monk fish as well. We enjoyed this one a lot and will be making it again and again. :)

Apple Dumplings I

Awesome! We loved these.I followed other reviews and seasoned the apples first and cut them into smaller slices. (I doubled the sauce as well.) Next time I make them for breakfast and let the kids put the sauce on some oatmeal, That should get them to eat there oatmeal!!! Thank you Carol.

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

I didnt have any honey on hand but had a huge craving for "sticky chicken" so, I used corn syrup and also because of the mess my kids make with wings, I substitued drumsticks. The kids ignored the side dishes and went ga- ga over the chicken. We had -NO- left overs with this chicken!! Thanks Vickee!
