Best Bread Machine Bread

Made with A/P flour in breadmaker through the dough cycle, then baked in loaf pan. Used 1 1/2 t salt as suggested . Very good!

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Perfect as is. I did add frozen peas as we just happen to love them. Previous reviews said it freezes well also - love to know that! Would be a great food gift for a friend or great potluck dish. Reheats well.

Easy Lemon Cookies

Easy and great! As suggested, use 1 T lemon juice instead of the extract. I am a NON baker so the ease of this was right up my alley. This would be a great treat to make with youngsters just learning to bake.

Artichoke Stuffed Mushrooms

Wonderful. Ran out of mushrooms so I filled frozen phyllo shells also & baked them. Had shrimp so I added that to mixture. Liked the idea of bacon as suggested by another reviewer. Thanks, Anita!

Go-to family recipe for over 30 years. My neighbor in Houston made this in 1979 from Southern Living. Freezes beautifully too so you have a couple on hand for gifts.

French Potato Salad

This is the base of a great salad. I use boiled red potatoes, and add crisp cooked fresh green beans and 1 pound bacon, coarsely chopped. Very good!

Excellent! Just the aroma is sinful. Made 2 batches today with my daughter. We used what I had in house - granulated garlic & Kraft jarred 100% cheese. Can't wait for my basil to rebound so we can make more...
