Sausage Flowers

These were really good! And not too difficult to fix. Took them to a party where they all quickly disappeared. Several people asked for the recipe. I will make this again!

Abalos-Style Hamburger Soup (Picadillo Filipino)

Very good and very easy to prepare. I used a can of diced tomatoes and 3 beef bouillion cubes. Left out the fish sauce because I didn't have any on hand.

Maple Banana Bread

A great idea and it sounds delicious but...the maple flavor is very delicate and the bread is a bit bland. Couldn't really taste the maple or the bananas. What we could taste was baking soda! The recipe needs a make-over.

Broccoli and Artichoke Bake

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Another recipe to add to my keeper file. This is good, thick soup the way I like it. I used a can of chicken broth and didn't add any water. I do think that cumin would be a good addition.

Irish Boiled Dinner (Corned Beef)

Very, very good!! I use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth and substituted V-8 juice for half of the tomato sauce. It's a thick soup but it is delicious.

Yummy Cube Steaks

Followed the recipe exactly and it came out great. Served over egg noodles, the cube steaks were fork tender and the zucchini was a good touch. Hubby and I both give this a thumbs up.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II
