MMMM Margaritas!
About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything Mexican or Southwestern. My husband and one of my sons both love spicy food. I love to bake, but I am not a great baker by any means.

Cajun Crab Soup
Very good recipe. I added bell pepper to the veggies. A can of tomato paste to the broth and only a part of the cream. Plus a pinch of cajun spice.

Washabinaros Chili
This chili was very good! Different from my everyday chili! I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and a light beer to cut down on calories. I also added a half of a red bell pepper. It was delicious! I omitted one can of beans and substitute one can of black beans for one can of kidney. Next time I will use 3 cans, my children felt it was too soupy, but that could be why. Will definitely make again.

Jamie's Minestrone
This soup was not a hit with my family. I think you have to add the wine or else you won't get the full extent of the flavor. The broth was good, but I felt that the vegetables overpowered it, eventhough I cut down on them! I only used one zucchini and 4 carrots. But there was still too many vegetables. More of a stoup than a soup.
