Slow Cooker Chili II

Not bad. Seemed to be missing the tomato flavor and was a bit dry so we added a 28oz can of crushed tomatoes. Probably should have added more chili powder too but will need to next time.

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

Made this with homegrown tomatoes (heirloom and big boy). It was bland, albeit a great tomato flavor. Added a couple cans of tomato paste as the tomatoes were really watery. Also added some salt and pepper.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Fabulous! Didn't have green pepper so substituted it with orange pepper...will try green next time. Also will add a couple more mushrooms to add a more "earthy" taste. Definitely a keeper!

Boston Baked Beans

Delicious! Will make again and again. Recipe doesn't say to, but we cut our bacon up into chunks before adding to the beans. Mixed night before and stuck in oven the next day. Worked great!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Absolutely mouth watering! Huge hit at our BBQ. Only thing I would try differently next time is to not separate the chunks so much...I like it when 3-4 popcorn kernels are stuck together :)

Pollo Fajitas

Pretty good! Needs more spice so will add a few more dashes of pepper sauce. Also won't use yellow pepper as it adds a sweetness. Added mushrooms to the mixture! Will try Monterey cheese instead of Cheddar next time too.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Blueberry Pie

Excellent flavor! Increased recipe to 5 c. blueberries and 5 T. cornstarch and baked at 400. Next time will try with 6 T. cornstarch as it was still a little runny. Definite keeper though!
