Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
IT is good albeit VERY VERY sweet...DEFFINATLY chill overnight as it needs time to set or it will come out more like pudding in a pie shell...It tasted good although i think i was looking more for a keylime mirange type of pie

Lemon Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
This is THE BEST zucchini i've ever had! I did some modifications and doubled the recipe for two loaves as one just isn't enought! I put in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and i also zested a whole lemon (not sure how much zest that equates) and i also used the glaze that another reviewer used and it was absolutly HEAVEN!!!! I also didn't sift the flour, used the whole wheat flour instead, baked both loaves together for about 20 minutes longer then the stated time and they came out soooo delicious and moist and wonderfully heavy like a pound cake, it was just PERFECT!! I can't wait to make these again!

Cinnamon Cream Syrup

I had already made the "Oatmeal and Applesauce Pancakes" when i realized we were out of syrup and didn't have any "mapple" extract to make mapple syrup but found this recipe and it was fantastic! Deffinatly a keeper!

Tater Tot Casserole III

This was good but i think it was pretty runny, maybe adding some flour would do the trick or maybe not so much milk next time, but even my picky non vegitable eater loved it!!! Thanks!

Honey Crunch Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This was a very yummy pie...my only problem was that it was still "runny" after cooking for the full cooking time and i wasn't able to tell that till after the pie cooled and was ready to cut. Not sure if it needed to cook longer or what. Thanks for the great recipe!

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This was very good tasting all though i'm not sure if the cast iron skillet is a necessity as i cooked the steaks a lot longer in my conventional skillet...was quite a messy affair but was very yummy! Although i needed a lot more flour then the recipe called for as with the "double dipping" created a lot of clumped up flour that made sticking to the steak difficult, as the flour stuck to my fingers/forks alot. Not sure what to do to make that better...maybe freezing the steaks after dipping? But the recipe resulted in the taste i was looking for! Thanks!

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Very simple and quick but wonderfully DELICIOUS recipe!!! My family loved this and will be a staple for our family instead of buying the jarred variety in the stores! Also would be great with a little garlic added!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
JUST LIKE THE RESTRAUNTS!!! BUT SO MUCH CHEAPER!!! I put a whole cup of parmasian chease and used the whole bag of spinich along with the garlic roasted alfredo sauce and it was PERFECT!! Also, instead of using the whole garlic and roasting it, i just put in 4 tsp. of chopped garlic into the mix and cooked it up! Was perfect with pita bread slices!

Stuffed Peppers

YUMMY! These were great! I added some chopped onion, about half a cup along with a cup of fat free chedder cheese in the meat mixture and substituted brown rice for the white rice and used the ultra lean meat for a low fat version that any weight watcher on the core plan would LOVE!

Salmon With Fruit Salsa by Jean Carper

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2006
Oh this is OOOHHH SO GOOD!!! I don't like spinich so i just made the salmon w/ the salsa, and it was DELICIOUS!!! Best to let the salsa "merinade" a bit in the fridge and have all the flavors blend in a little and get nice and cold! YUMMY, can't wait to make some more, this time a BIG batch to last a while!

Cheesy Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
This was a really good alternative to the "classic" meat lasagna, and I LOVED the cheeses used in this recipie!!! I'd like to try the meat lasangna using this cheese mixture!! YUMMY! I'm not much of a vegie eater, but thought i'd try spinich and thought the flavor deffinatly wasn't overwhelming even for a NON vegie eater like myself! The bacon was a great adding, i went ahead and used the whole package instead of just the 6 slices and it was supperb!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
Awesome Stuffing Recipie!!! This was the first time I made a "Home Made" stuffing and not from the box it was EXCEPTIONALLY good!!! The flavoring was superb!!! The only thing i would change is either HALF the brooth or DOUBLE the bread cubes because i only used 2 cans of the 3 needed and it was VERY VERY moist, almost TOO moist but still quite YUMMY!!! LOTS of prep work envolved and i would say takes closer to 45 min. to cut vegies/bread if your doing alone but well worth the work!!! YUM YUM!!!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
VERY YUMMY!! Deffinatly the PERFECT pumpkin pie!!! This recipie will replace my old recipie for now on!! My whole family raved over it! The Condensed Milk made a big difference in the texture of the pie which was nice and thick and rich! MUCH better then recipies with the evaporated milk! It cooked easier and I didn't have to "recook" when the center was runny like i have had to do each time with the evaporated milk! Be sure to get a DEEP dish pie shell or be prepared with a SECOND pie dish!

Onion Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2002
This onion bread is the BEST bread i've made in our machine yet!!!...We make it at least once a week and have to make two loaves because my husband and I will devour the first before it finishes cooling!!!!...Just make the dough with the dough cycle in the machine and transfere to a 9x5 loaf pan!!!! This recipie has just the right amt of onion and its a moist bread, not dry like alot of breads are!! Thanks for the recipie!!!
