I love to eat great food and have been in the kitchen since I was a little girl. I'm fortunate to be married to a man who will eat anything I put in front of him and will give me honest feedback. Anything Italian! Since I'm trying to lose weight (aren't we all?), I'm also learning to cook "lighter" and also more vegetarian meals (I can't get rid of meat...but we're definitely eating more veggies in this house!). My family is Italian and I lived in Italy for a while, so many of the dishes I make have an Italian flare. My parents had us kids in the kitchen at an early age, so we all learned to cook and all have different strengths. My youngest brother is a Master at the BBQ while my oldest sister is excellent with any Asian dish. Dad always cooked the gourmet dishes growing up while Mom made the essential comfort foods.
