About this Cook
I started cooking about a couple of years ago. Until then, I was a frozen food fan. What really motivated me was that my best guy friends would drool over the thought of their girl's cooking. So I said what the heck? I could cook, it don't mean nothin'. My first thing I had ever cooked was a Chicken Danielle. It has to be my favorite, although I have only made it twice in my cooking lifetime. I think its one of those sentimental dishes for me.
My favorite things to cook
Anything healthy, low fat and by request!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions has to be at Christmas. My father has this "Top-Secret Family Recipe" for cookies that he makes every Christmas. No joke, these babies have to stired in an ice chest! So many ingredients, so so yummy!
My cooking triumphs
I have accomplished making the perfect cornbread dressing (lower in fat, too!!) My future goal is to master the art of caramel cakes...
My cooking tragedies
The worst thing I goofed on was caramel icing. It seems to be an impossible thing for me! (It would be. It is my favorite of all desserts). However the folly, the fire department has yet paid me a visit. (Now that doesnt include the microwave incident).

Chicken Danielle
I cooked this for the very first time, using corkscrew noodles instead of the linguini. It was a hit! I didn't use any of the wine, so that made the gravy a bit too thick and not enough to go around.Overall, I review this as a GREAT RECIPIE!
