How NOT to Fry Chicken
About this Cook
I love gardening and cooking was the next natural step. I have no problem with spending 3 hours in the kitchen every night. I enjoy it! I work mainly nights now and as much as I love it it's a drag to only be able to really cook a couple of nights a week...
My favorite things to cook
For some reason I get the most satisfaction out of making soups from scratch. I also love putting together a gourmet grilled veggie sandwich. I just love cooking what I grow. Mexican fits the bill beautifully!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up in a small family and we really didn't cook elaborate meals very much - maybe because I was such a picky eater as a kid!
My cooking triumphs
Grilled mahi mahi - Yum! FINALLY learned how to make GOOD salsa!
My cooking tragedies
Baking, in general. I enjoy baking but just don't seem to have what it takes.

Mom's Creamy Asparagus Spread
I'd give it 4 stars for being somewhat bland, but it gets 5 for a dip you don't have to dip veggies in to get your veggies. Added a dash of S & P & cayenne, maybe next time add parmesan cheese? Great idea for something different than the same old dips : )

Pasta Salad II
YUM...I was skeptical about the Old Bay - it's a staple in my pantry but have never used it for anthing but seafood and would never have come up with this. Oh how narrow my vision has been lol! I forgot the cheese (!?!?) and it's still excellent. I'm sure it'll be a BBQ hit - thanks for sharing!!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Yum! Adddeed blue cheese instead of cheddar and used Frank's - nice and spicy and went over really well at a party. Keeper!
