Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread
This recipe is absolutley fantastic!! I used the suggestions and added almond extract to the butter while I was mixing it, and also mixed the butter and almond extract for 15 minutes as suggested. I suggest making the cookies extremely small so that they are bite sized, unless you want to keep cleaning up crumbs, because they are very fragile if youtry to just take a bite. Pop in your mouth and eat is the way to go on this one! I also added some slivered almond slices to the top tp decorate. I tried to use a manual cookie press and found that the batter was too soft to use an actual shape ( I tried a Christmas tree)A simple round tip worked great. Definatley a keeper, thanks for sharing this recipe!
