About this Cook
I've been married for the last two years to a wonderful man and i sometimes cook on weekends special dishes for him and i really enjoy doing it, in fact i love it. I guess that's the key, enjoy while you cook, there's no way something can go wrong if you really enjoy it.
My favorite things to cook
Risottos, appetizers, desserts.
My cooking triumphs
The turkey i baked for my friends on New Year's eve 2006, they just loved it!!!
My cooking tragedies
i once tried to impress my boyfriend-then/husband-now with some raviolis with a "three cheeses" sauce (he just loves cheese). The cheese was perfectly melted and everything was running smoothly until i poured cold stock in to the hot sauce.....it became a hard ball of cheese that i never could melt again and had to throw it all away!! it was the first time i was cooking something for him so i was really embarrased!! lol....fortunately i had my mom's meat sauce on hand.

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes
i agree with somebody that said that she has made many good recipes from this site but this is the first recipe that totally deserves the effort of writing a review......these cupcakes are AMAZING and were a hit among my friends! i didn't change a thing and the result were 22 amazingly moist and delicious cupcakes. I would even say the recipe is absolutely fool-proof because i left one batch in the oven for like 35 minutes and they were still moist and yummy!! i would just half the recipe of the filling because you would need two batches of the chocolate mix to get to use all the filling. I will be making these cupcakes again and again!!

Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
Didn't like this one at all, i just made them because i had a couple of over ripen bananas at home. The cookies were too cakey for my taste even when i just used 1 tsp of baking powder. They come out better if you just use a small amount of dough per cookie and flatten it a little bit before baking. I also reduced the temperature to 350 and baked them for nearly 20 minutes. They were still soft but not THAT cakey.
