Caramel Corn Snack Mix
I've been making this recipe for years as a holiday gift for teachers. I would often get notes from teacher saying that they where going to take it home to their family, but ended up eating all themselves before getting home. I also like to double he caramel mixture.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe
We loved these! I scaled the recipe down to 3 lbs of potatoes. The idea of "raw" garlic was not very appealing to me so I sauted the garlic in butter while the potatoes were boiling. Used paramasan cheese because that is what I had. Great flavor, texture etc. Will probably not make regular mashed potatoes again. Also set aside a portion without cheese for a child that can't have dairy. She enjoyed her's too.

World's Best Potato Soup
I have made this recipe several times now for the concession stand at my boys wrestling tournaments. It is always a huge hit. People come back to the concession stand asking who made the soup and asking for the recipe. I "fried" the celery, onion and diced bacon together then added it to the boiled potatoes. Followed thre rest of the recipe, except, occasional used just milk instead of half and half and gotten just as much appreciation.
