About this Cook
I am just starting to develop my love for cooking. I am new but my mother is Italian so I think it is in my blood. I always grew up with delicious home cooked meals. I work full-time and go to school. So I love to cook on the weekends when I can take my time trying new receipes.
My favorite things to cook
One of my favorite things to cook is chicken. It is healty and so versatile. I like grilling it with marinades, baking it with a great breaded topings, or stir-frying with vegetables.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition would have to be Spagetti Carbonara. Is is defifitly our family favorite and we all enjoy making it and eating it. My mom, myself, and my two brothers always make this dish for birthdays!
My cooking triumphs
I would have to say that one of my cooking triumphs would be makng Chili for the first time ever for a super bowl party. That was the first time that I cooked for a big group. Everyone loved it! I am a perfectionist when it comes to cooking so I was worried that it wouldn't taste right, but I received lots of complements. :-)
My cooking tragedies
I would have to say that my biggest cooking tragedy is burning myself. From picking up glass lids with my bare hands that just came out of the oven. To brushing up against hot frying pans with my arms. To even buring the top of my hand in the toaster oven!! Embarassing but true. :-(

Kicky Steak Strips with Rice
Was pretty good. Just tasted like A-1 steak sauce to me. So if you like that, go for it!
