I am a mother of three. One girl and two boys. I am the manager of a year round Famers Market in Lynchburg Virginia. I love using the freshest ingredients I can find, I think it makes a world of difference. I use tons of fresh herbs in my cooking, I love to grill and I make a mean orange pound cake. We never, ever cook a steak on anything other than a grill. My family has been known to grill in the rain, sleet or snow. Sounds like the US Mail mantra! Catering my nieces wedding for 300. We were exhausted but people are still talking about that meal five years later! It took me three years ( and lots of sad sunken pound cakes) to make just the perfect one. My family says it was worth the wait. My father-in-law is glad he doesn;t have to eat sunken pound cakes anymore.
