Cook the macaroni noodles as directed. Heat milk, add cheese and mix til melted. Then cool about 1/2 cup mixture and add to eggs. This prevents curdling. Return egg mixture to milk/cheese and mix well with macaroni, then place in prepared dish to bake.

My husband and friends found these to be very tasty. I made my own taco seasoning from A/R recipe and added cayenne to it. Will make this again.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
Bacon and cheese are a nice addition. Instead of 1/2 cup of mayo, I use 2-3 TBSP Hellman's real mayo and 3 oz pkg of softened cream cheese, the flavor is great, my family loves it.

Great lemonade, we like an "Arnold Palmer", so I add strong brewed tea to the mix, using 1/2 lemonade and 1/2 tea.

Parmesan Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
Absolutely excellent soup, I served it at luncheon and received rave reviews and requests for recipe. I did alter the ingredients a bit. I used 6 small white potatoes, peeled and diced then boiled. 3 cans Swanson chicken broth, 1 qt half & Half. Sauteed 2 large bunches chopped green onions in butter, then made a roux with the flour mixed with seasonings, then added broth, potatoes and simmered for 20 minutes, then added half & half.

Rutabaga Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2008
Using 1 large rutabaga, peel, cut into chunks and boil in water in large pan for 20 minutes, cool. Using 2 large apples, peel, chop and cook in small pot with 2 TBSP sugar. Place rutabaga and apples in casserole dish, sprinkle 4 TBSP honey over top and dot with butter. Bake uncovered in 350 oven for about 35 minutes. A good way to use up leftover rutabaga, mash with cooked apples, butter and honey, warm and serve.

I always add diced apple with a little sugar to rutabaga before mashing. It adds a great flavor even for those who dislike "beggies".

Broiled Herb Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This recipe is similar to one I've been using for over 40 years. Instead of mixing butter and herbs and then broiling the chicken. I melt the butter, add herbs, then marinate the chicken for a few hours, then place on foil-lined pan and bake at 375 degrees for 45 min to 1 hr. Absolutely great for a crowd, just increase chicken, etc. to fit the number of diners.

Recipe is similar to one I've been making for 50 years. I add one squeezed fresh lemon to the apples to keep them from turning brown. Then I add spices/sugar and sprinkle over apples then continue.
