About this Cook
Hey all, I'm 20 and one of my favorite hobbies is cooking! While I don't plan to set my life out with being a chef, I know someday if I had a husband and children they'd appericate my cooking. :)
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook Italian foods. I'm a big fan of anything pasta. I also enjoy good ol' American foods, always fun to make!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandma's famous cauliflower casserole. Cauliflower, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, shredded cheese, and parmesan cheese are baked in the oven for a delicious cheesy side dish, yum!
My cooking triumphs
Everyone loves my manicotti, lasagna, and pizza. If I could, I'd make those meals everyday.
My cooking tragedies
Basically anything that's boxed. I will never understand how I can make something from scratch, yet I can't manage to correctly bake cookie dough I bought from the store, lol! :)

Quick Lemon Dijon Chicken
This was a great recipe and very easy to make. I used honey mustard instead of dijon and cajun seasoning instead of creole seasoning. Even doing so, it was delicious! My parents thought it was very flavorful too. I served this with some rice and peas, yum! I will definitely make this again.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups
It was very difficult to mix the cheese and other ingredients together and even 'spreading' them onto the chicken was pain. When we did cook it however, it was ok. The taste was kind of bland, just a cheesy garlic flavor on breadcrumbs, nothing special.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole
I made this yesterday for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! I followed the recipe exactly except I had a bit of sour cream left in our fridge and decided to use it up. My parents loved it and my dad even said it would be great as a filling in a tortilla (which I think I'll do next time I make this). Overall this is a great recipe and I will definitely make it again.
