I only made the meatballs and used jarred sauce because I was short on time. I thought they were great, and loved that they cooked in the sauce instead of in the oven or skillet--I've never had good luck with those, but these did great. The only problem was that they burned to the bottom of the saucepan just a bit, even though I had the burner on low. I would recommend stirring to prevent this.

I've had the best luck with this recipe over lots of others I've used over the years. This one always comes out moist, chewy, and delicious.

This soup was great! The only changes I made were: -chicken stock instead of broth, which I made from a leftover roasted chicken -I added carrots -I used half and half instead of heavy cream.
