Me!
About this Cook
I'm a 22 year old female. I studied four years for a bachelor's degree in psychology (two years), visual arts and French literature, but I've decided that it wasn't for me. My first language is French, and I also speak a little bit of Spanish. I like to watch movies of any kind. In the TV department, I like to watch sitcoms and comedy dramas. I like to listen to oldies, zen and Celtic music. I also like to read pretty much any books that I can get my hands on, and I adore surfing the net.
My favorite things to cook
I mostly like to cook desserts. I have a bit of sweet tooth, and I just enjoy seeing pastries slowly rise up in the oven, or getting that golden brown hue on top of them. I also like to try anything in a slow cooker, and stir fries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have a lot of recipes that, when I mention them to my friends or acquaintances, nobody seems to know. Example of these would be: - Reversed Pie (main ingredients: ground beef, tomato soup) - Lengthen Sauce (m.i.: ground beef) - Penne Pasta with different kinds of meat (m.i.: either chicken or beef, peppers of all colors, penne pasta, any kind of canned cream soup) - Mock Sukiyaki (m.i.: sirloin steak, peppers, mushrooms)
My cooking triumphs
- My very first pie was an apple pie (which I took the recipe right here!), and it was a real success! It was my first time making a crust out of scratch. - My first meringue lemon pie. - Orange Beef And Broccoli. - Creamy Penne Pasta recipes
My cooking tragedies
I can't make a decent Banana Cream Pie.. I only tried once, but I messed so bad, I won't try it for at least another year! :P

No Bake Pumpkin Pie I
So amazingly easy to do! I had never tasted or done a pumpkin pie before in my life, so I was wondering what it'd turned out to be. I fallowed the recipe exactly, except instead of gelatin, I had bought pectin (by mistake); I improvised that part. But it's really yummy, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks for sharing!!

Elvis Cookies
This recipe makes mighty big cookies! I fallowed the recipe exactly, and then I added chocolate chips. I separated into 24 drops on the cookie sheets, and the cookies came as big as 3.5-4" in circumference. But they're really delicious!

Skillet Meatloaf
This a really great recipe! My whole family likes it, and I think that adding the cheese on top is original and very tasty. The only "negative" point would be that there isn't enough sauce left at then end. But next time I'll do this, I'll just double if not triple the amount of tomato soup. I also didn't put as much salt as the recipe called for, I only put half of it, and the recipe was still pretty delicious. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us! ;D
