Buttermilk Bread II
WOW! Great flavor, rich texture, and a soft, fine crumb - almost cakelike. I increased the salt to 2 and 1/4 teaspoons and had to add more flour as the dough was really sticky. Used a Kitchen aide mixer. Total prep time was more like 4 1/2 hours, for the dough took over 2 hours to double in volume. I only allowed a 30 minute second rise. Came out great.
