Sarah's Banana Bread Muffins
These muffins are now my absolute favorite. I also followed the suggestions and used only 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 white & 1/4 light brown) and used pecans instead o walnuts simply because I don't like walnuts. The recipe made exactly 12 regular sized muffins which I baked at 350 for 25 minutes. I think the next time I make them I'm going to try adding a couple of tablespoons of molasses to the batter as well as a tiny bit more flour to compensate for the thinner batter.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin
I too altered it slightly by using only 1 cup of wine and substituted the second cup with water and 2 beef bullion cubes. I also left out the celery but I included one large potato which I sliced into thick slices. It turned out tasting just fabulous. My husband just raved about it saying he liked it nearly as well as prime rib. I don't quite agree with that but it was very good.

Apple Bavarian Torte
I made this cake for a Christmas party and was somewhat nervous about how it would "present" since it was my first attempt at making it. I should not have worried just as those that critiqued the cake before had said - it turned out beautiful. The cake tasted wonderfully also but I did make the suggested change by doubling the cream cheese filling portion and also used only 3 large apples which I first softened by cooking them for 4 minutes in the microwave before incorporating them into the recipe. It was eaten so quickly and I should have made 2 cakes because I was only able to get 8 servings from my cake and no one thought it to be too rich at all.
