About this Cook
I live with my two-year-old daughter and two Labs and I LOVE TO COOK!
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, casseroles, sangria and slow cooker meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I obtained a great apple pie recipe from my grandma that I guard very protectively!
My cooking triumphs
I make really good cheesecakes and just about any baked goods!
My cooking tragedies
One time I made chicken enchiladas and thought a clove of garlic was a bulb of garlic. I also left the milk out of a cheesecake recipe once.

Banana Pancakes I
Very good recipe! I would probably use three bananas next time instead of two to give it a more banana-y taste and will definitely try adding cinnamon and vanilla extract. However, they were very, very tasty!

Sassy Sangria
This sangria was okay. The reason why I decided to make it was because it did not require overnight chilling. It was a good sangria to make on the fly for a spur of the moment dinner (that's what I needed it for) but wasn't the best sangria I have ever had. Very easy to make though...

Ranch Dressing I
The only variation I made with this recipe was to use fresh dill (1 Tbsp) and fresh parsley (3 Tbsp) and ALL I could taste in the dressing was the pepper. WAY too peppery, WAY too hot and nothing at all like Ranch. I would not make this again.
