Carrot Cake III

The best , I cannot believe it! I was pretty skeptical but got over that after the first bite! I used a fig balsamic and butter leaf lettuce. Delicious!

Wicked Garlic Tofu Saute

Fried the tofu first and set aside. I added fresh asparagus , onion and yellow bell pepper (no frozen veggies). I also added a teaspoon of black bean sauce instead of fish sauce , turend out great . Served over jasmine rice.

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

I loved this and will be making it again. I added cayenne as well as onion , yellow pepper and a whole head of garlic. I first browned the orzo in oil then added the rest . I also browned the chicken first and set aside then added at the end . Used chick broth as well.

Wow! Perfect and moist , I think I've found my recipe! UPdate-I added a crumb struesel of rbown sugar,butter,flour and cinnamon to the middle and top....it is wonderful and very rich!

Three-Onion Pie with Feta or Goat Cheese

A little too "herby" for me but I used dried thyme and I wonder if that had something to do with it I also omitted dill as it doesn't sound right for this dish. I added four egg whites and carmelized the onions which tasted really good. I didn't have leeks so I used green onion.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

wow ! these are the best , fully deserving of the five star rating ! Unfortunately my batch did not make the full amount as stated.......I could not stop eating the batter! Great recipe! UPDATE- MADE WITH ALMOND BUTTER , GREAT BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL.

Corn N Cucumbers Salad

Good ,I actually used the baby corn pictured . Mine was already marinated and worked well with the recipe. Next time I will try somthing a little different with the marinade recipe to give a little more flavor , maybe not add the water.
