I am a stay at home mom, turned licensed child care provider. I enjoy trying new recipes. My mom is a wonderful cook, and has instilled her love of cooking in me. I like to experiment in the kitchen, and only follow recipes to the "T" when I'm baking. Cooking is a fly by the seat of your pants, and experiment with flavors experience. Desserts mostly, but I've been learning how to make mexican food from my neighbor. He is a fantastic cook and should open his own restaurant. My favorite Tradition is cooking Kraut Bruske with my mom. My grandmother taught her and I'll teach my daughter. I attempted a Bundt cake with chocoate chips in it. The chips all sank to the bottom, and when the cake was flipped over, they stuck to the pan. Needless to say, my husbands birthday cake was not all it should be!
