I grew up in small town Sask. Went to school in Edmonton for two years taking Culinary Arts. Great experience. For one summer I worked in a kitchen at the Chateau Lake Louise, another cool experience. I backpacked around Australia for one year. I had a blast, best time of my life. I came back home and moved to Lethbridge, I liked the city but the person I was living with wasn't the great roommate. We ended up dating and things just went down hill. I moved back home spring of 07, and ran a cafe with my cousin until December. I met a wonderful man who I fell in love with and we are expecting our first child on May 30 08. I am working part time at the cafe for the original owner and everything is great. My mother is from Quebec, still living in Swift Current Sask, and is a wonderful cook. Even though I went to school and all I can never beat her lasagne. I love her sauce and try to make it all the time but can never get it the same way she can. And I enjoy making deserts. My family loves there appetizers. It could be a b-day, or Christmas, or just a get together, there are always appies. Not always a good thing cause then the meal is hard to eat, but man you never leave Grandma's hungry.
