Country Soup in a Jar

Yikes why do people like this?? I wanted to test the recipe before making the gifts, and I'm so glad that I did. The soup was a stinky porridge of barley-lentil-rice goo. I had even added carrots, celery and onions, but it didn't make a difference. Be warned!

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones

The filling was excellent. As some of the other reviewers suggested I used Refrigerated Pizza Dough but wish I hadn't. It was so salty! Next time I will make my own dough.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

This was very disappointing. The meat was gluey and grey. It is better to brown the beef first to give it some colour.
