Crystal's Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

I followed the recipe exactly. My family and I were a bit disappointed because the texture of these cookies are more like pumpkin bread, not a cookie. We are not soft-cookie fans and these are definitely a soft-cookie. The flavor is pretty good, but not great. Sorry to be a downer on this recipe... We really wanted to love it.

Homemade Tomato Sauce I

This is a wonderful recipe. To make the removing of the tomato skins easier I cored them first and with a sharp knife I carved a small X on the bottom of the tomato. This makes the skin come off much easier.

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler

This is a tasty recipe, however I was not satisfied with the topping. I was hoping it would be more a a crumb type topping and have some crunch to it. As another reviewer said, it was more cake like.

Blueberry Cream Muffins

We were extremely happy with this recipe. I did modify it a bit by using 1 cup buttermilk and 1 cup greek yogurt as I did not have sour cream. I also added 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Will definitely make it again!! Thanks for the recipe.

Thai Spiced Barbecue Shrimp

We really liked this recipe. I did make a couple of changes since our daughter does not like "heat". I cut the curry paste in half. For my own taste I added 1 tsp of tamarind paste and tsp grated fresh ginger. It was excellent. I personally do like a little heat and it was lacking in that area, so next time I will add more curry paste but keep the tamarind and ginger. Thanks for the recipe.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This recipe was a big disappointment for my husband and myself. I made it based on the high ratings it received. This recipe called for way to much cinnamon and it was rather dry. I made 3 batches and carefully checked the time/temp on each. As a former restaurant owner I was very disappointed.

Cathie's Clam Chowder

I was disappointed with this recipe. I followed the directions exactly (except where it forgot to tell us when to add the additional clam juice, i did that on my own) and it "broke" almost immediately. I also was not crazy about the flavor/consistency.
