About this Cook
I'm a kindy teacher. I love kids but don't want any, which seems to baffle people for some reason. My boyfriend is a better cook than I am.
My favorite things to cook
Roasts, steak, lamb chops... Anything with cheese and garlic...
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mym makes a mean gravy and yorkshire puddings. I can't compete.
My cooking triumphs
My potato bake has a reputation for being pretty good. Mars bar cheesecake goes down well too...
My cooking tragedies
Making corned beef in the Crockpot but the butcher had put the wrong label on and it wasn't actually corned...it turned out disgusting, it was grey, which is never a good colour for food...

Beef Stroganoff III
I don't know what I did wrong. I don't think it's the recipe that was the problem though. I think I might just leave the cooking to my boyfriend :(

Sweet and Sour Pork III
This recipe was better than Sweet and Sour from a restaurant. I made the base of the sauce while the pork was cooking, and thought it tasted too sweet but once we added the vegies it was PERFECT. Thanks!
