Vegetarian Chickpea Curry with Turnips

I doubled most of the recipe, leaving the cumin, curry and tomato sauce the same. I'm glad I did, because the spices are quite strong! This has good flavor, texture and color appeal!

Swedish Rye Bread II

I used molasses in place of the sugar, and added extra caraway as others have suggested. This is a great bread. Making 1/3 the recipe yielded a huge free formed loaf!

Sunshine Hummus Melts

I used the rye bread that I just baked as the base for this. I had Pumpkin Hummus from AR, and layered on the apples and cheddar. The tastes of garlic from the hummus and the apple were strange together, but overall, this was great! I'll be trying this with other flavors of breads, hummuses, apples and cheeses--what a great idea!

Spicy Cheese Quick Bread

I used 1 cup whole wheat flour in place of the all purpose flour, and changed the half and half to yogurt. This was very good bread! I baked it in a 9" pie pan for about 30 minutes, so we could have wedges of bread for supper.

Cauliflower Salad

Great tasting "fake potato" salad! We eliminated the s+p, thinking that is personal preference, and omitted the onions because we had none. Cauliflower is one of our favorite vegetables, so this definitely came out as a winner! Thanks for the recipe!
