About this Cook
I'm a single dad that refuses to bring fast food home to my three kids. I have a great love for bread baking and all that surrounds the leavened dough.
My favorite things to cook
Baking: Breads, pizzas & calzones, bagels Dining: Pasta dishes, Slowcooking, creative dishes, Italian salads Desserts: Pies, danishes, cakes And of course ... BBQ
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lasagna, & Whole grain breads
My cooking triumphs
Buffalo wings, Pizza, Fettuccine alfredo
My cooking tragedies
The one memorable one that I have (there are many though) is the first time I BBQ'd a steak. I was about 16 and I was at home by myself and decided to give it a try. I cooked it perfectly but when I went to take it off the grill, it fell in the dirt! I was mad but had to laugh.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi
Very good "full bodied" flavor. I also used powdered ginger since I didn't have any fresh on hand. Came out very tasty!
