Sugar Cookie Icing

I didn't care for this and wouldn't make again. Cookies looked beautiful but I didn't like the 'flavor'.

Scented Applesauce-Cinnamon Ornaments

I did add 1T of elmers glue to the mix as some reviewers suggested..these were for my 3 year olds in Sunday school to decorate. Worked great and the kids loved them. Thanks!

Awesome Egg Rolls

As other reviews suggested I added oyster sauce. These were ok..but my family thought they were 'bland' and missing something. I'm must not sure what it is that is missing.

Family Favorite Chicken Lo Mein

a very adaptable recipe. i did not have black bean sauce so i used oyster sauce in it's place. i doubled the sauce and used a whole box of pasta with double the veggies. i had 3 very large boneless skinless chicken breasts as well. this way we had lots of leftovers for work lunches. you could use any veggies you have on hand and add shrimp in the chickens place.

German Apple Cake I

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I made exactly like the recipe. In my opinion it didn't have enough 'sauce' and there wasn't alot of flavor. We are PA Dutch and our pot pie is 'soupy' so this was something different for us. Thanks for sharing.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

this is the best peanut butter icing ever! made it just like the recipe and it tastes just like the insides of my granmothers peanut butter easter eggs! it is a true peanut butter recipe and isn't going to be creamy like a buttercream icing..but for a peanut butter icing it is creamy and easy to spread. i beat the 'heck' out of it in my kitchenade and that might have helped. this is my go to recipe for peanut butter icing from now on! thanks for sharing!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

this is the best chocolate cake ever..and being a mix is so easy and quick! this is now my go to recipe for chocolate cake! i cut the oil to 1/2 a cup and added 1/3 skim milk as someone else suggested. i made it in a 9 x 13 pan with the 'fluffy peanut butter frosting' also found on this sight. very very good!

Oven Pot Roast

this is the best and perfect for gravy challenged people like me! i added a little garlic to the flour and black pepper before dredging and i used white wine inplace of vermouth. very very good recipe..thanks for sharing!

Quinoa and Black Beans

it was ok. i made it exactly to the recipe. family didn't like it. i have been taking it to work for lunch so it doesn't go to waste. if i make it again i may try to soak the quinoa before cooking.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

this was ok..something different but I prefer the baked corn recipe that i got out of Taste of Home a few years ago and will stick with that. thanks for sharing! i did use fresh corn and used my stick blender to 'create' creamed corn.

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

This was good! I used my own homemade applesauce which is made from ginger gold apples. Also the Costco size box of oatmeal that we have did not have any apple cinnamon packets left (since that is the kids favorite) after I had already assembled the rest of the ingrediants for this so I forged ahead and used 2 packets of the cinnamon roll flavor. Thanks for sharing. This is a great treat that got included in my sons back to school lunch!
