I've been married to my husband Jody for a little over 2 years. We live in a small Indiana town (with a great boating lake!) He loves to taste-test my new recipes, whether I find them online, in a cookbook, or make them up as I go! Glad he's not a picky eater!! I love to make "homemade mom's recipes." I'm all about slow-cookers, casseroles and comfort food. Although, we do alot of grilling in the warm months. Baking cookies around the holidays with my family, my grandma's yummy macaroni and cheese still can comfort me to this day! My recipe for chicken florentine lasagna! Everyone raves about it and requests it often! Also, even though I love my mothers, grandmothers and mother-in-law's cooking, I do enjoy taking their recipes and making them "my own" Even my mother is impressed!! soggy dumplings in my slow-cooker chicken and dumplings!! I know I followed the recipe to a tee! :)
